Open any child to see their full record. The record is organized into tabs so you can
find what you need without hunting, and your changes **save automatically**. There is no
Save button. When you move off a field, you see a brief "Saving…" then
"Saved".

## The tabs [#the-tabs]

* **Child information**: the child's demographics, address, program details, EI Hub ID, and contacts.
* **Referral**: what this Agency sent — date, channel, sender, source, requested Initial Service Coordinator, confirmation, and the PDF. See [Referrals](/docs/children/referrals).
* **Medical Info**: allergies, diagnoses, medications, appointments, providers, and medical alerts. Everything here is optional; fill in what applies.
* **Insurance**: Medicaid, commercial, or none, with proof of coverage. See [Insurance](/docs/children/insurance).
* **Documents**: consent forms and any other files for this child. See [Documents & consents](/docs/children/documents-and-consents).
* **Notes**: a running diary of calls, reminders, and anything case-related. See [Notes](/docs/children/notes).
* **Case Activity**: a read-only timeline of everything that happened on the case, newest first.

## The EI Hub ID [#the-ei-hub-id]

The **EI Hub ID** lives under Program Information on the Child information tab.
Copy it from the EI Hub and paste it here — this is how the child is identified in
the state system.
