Documents & consents

Track required consent forms and keep every other document for a child in one place.

The Documents tab holds two things: the consent forms a child needs, and any other documents you want to keep on file.

Consents

At the top of the tab is the consent tracker. There are eleven consent types, and four of them are required before a referral is ready to be worked as an active case. Each one shows its status:

  • Collected — the form is uploaded, with the date it was obtained.
  • Missing — not uploaded yet.

Required consents are marked with a Required badge so you know which ones matter most.

To add one, select Upload on the row, pick the date it was obtained, and choose the file (PDF, JPG, or PNG). You can view or remove a consent afterward — removing one on an active case asks you to confirm, since it leaves a gap in the child's documentation.

Other documents

Below consents, keep any other file for the child. Select Upload document, choose or name a document type, and pick the file. For each document you can preview it, mark it verified once you have reviewed it, refile it under a different type, or delete it.

Files are private to your agency and only opened over secure, expiring links — there are no public URLs.
